Obituary

Jones: Kathleen (Saylor), Born July 27, 1972, died unexpectedly on March 22, 2023.  She attended Conemaugh Township schools and graduated from VoTech.  She served 4 years in the Navy in Aviation.  She graduated from UPJ with honors majoring in Secondary Education, English.  She was the former English Teacher at Forest Hills School District.  Kathy was an avid reader who wrote poetry and short stories and also enjoyed creating art.  She loved her family and enjoyed her grandchildren.  She is survived by her long-time partner Joseph Niovich, her parents James Saylor, Jr. and Karen (Hill) Saylor, brother James Saylor III, son Jon Jones and wife Breanna (Kopsic) and grandchildren Jaxson, Ryleigh, and Dani.  Family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until the Celebration of Life service at 11 A.M. April 1, 2023 at Ferndale Community Church, 701 Vickroy Ave. Johnstown, PA 15905 with Pastor Dennis Zimmerman officiating.  In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the Ferndale Community Church in her memory.  Arrangements by the George E.
