Kathleen Rita (Garlesky) Matolyak

Matolyak: Kathleen Rita (Garlesky), 73 of Everett, died June 29, 2023 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  Born August 12, 1949, in Johnstown the daughter of Frank and Angelica (Maslak) Garlesky.  Preceded in death by parents and husband Ronald Matolyak who died April 24, 2018.  Survived by loving brother Dave and wife Cathy and and brother-in-law Gary and wife Patty Matolyak.  She was a loving aunt to Samantha Garlesky and Shane Matolyak.  She will be missed by many cousins.  Kathleen was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford.  She had worked for Johnstown Bank and Trust, Mellon Bank, and Bedford Hospital.  She was a member of Bedford American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  She was an avid artist who enjoyed painting, photos, needle felting, and making ornaments.  Family will receive friends July 8 from 4 to 7 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville where prayers will be said.  Inurnment at a later date at St. Anne Cemetery.
