Miller: Leona Ruth, 83 of Davidsville, died May 25, 2020 at home. Born September 22, 1936 in Richland Township the daughter of Ervin and Eva (Giffin) Wingard. Preceded in death by parents, husband Ray Miller, Jr. who died January 18, 1997, sister Mary Hostetler, brother David E. Wingard, 2 infant brothers, and 1 infant sister. Survived by loving daughters Gwen married to Jack Boyer, Linda married to Steve Naugle, Jill married to Michael Macey, and Lisa married to Jim Arthur. Also survived by her grandchildren Dillon and Megan Boyer, Caroline and Connor Naugle, Matthew and Julia Macey, and Jordan, Josie and Lucy Arthur. Leona was a member of St. David’s Lutheran Church Davidsville where she was a member of the choir. She sang solos for many weddings. She was a 1954 graduate of Richland High School and enjoyed planning their reunions. Along with her husband she owned and operated the Miller School Bus Line serving the Conemaugh Township and Richland School Districts for over 44 years. Leona enjoyed cross stitching and gardening. She enjoyed being a devoted spectator attending all of her grandchildren’s many activities. Leona was a loving Wife to Ray for 39 years, Mother and Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend who loved being with her family and showing them her strong faith and love for the Lord. Viewing while maintaining social distancing will be held Friday from 10 A.M. until service at Noon at St. David’s Lutheran Church Davidsville.
