Ringler, Leone M., 99, formerly of Blough, PA, died peacefully in her sleep on September 1, 2018, at Arbutus Park Manor, Johnstown, PA. Born June 21, 1919 in Hollsopple, PA, she is predeceased by her parents Albert and Mary Marshall; husband of 51 years, Clifton “Mutt” Ringler; grandson Bryan Berkebile; grandson-in-law Jim Monteith; and great-grandson Randall Monteith. Leone was a seamstress in the Hollsopple sewing factory and a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Hollsopple, PA where she was a long-time member of the choir as well as a member of the Hollsopple VFD Ladies Auxiliary. She loved camping in Bedford, PA with her extended family, gardening, and home canning.She is survived by sister Eileen Holsopple, two children, daughter Deanna (Paul) Berkebile of Amherst, NH and son James (Susan) Ringler of Hollsopple, PA; grandchildren Angel Berkebile, David (Ressie) Berkebile, Neil Berkebile, Christine Monteith, and Rhonda (Bryan) Thomas; great grandchildren Amanda (Taylor), Alicia (Rusty), Jonathan, Kevin (Sarah), Hannah (Eric Shaw), Rhonda (Ryan), Caleb, and Hunter; and 11 great, great grandchildren; and very special niece, Gail Brink.Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing to be held at the George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc, Davidsville, PA on Monday from 3pm – 8pm; followed by a viewing at 10am and Funeral Service at 11am Tuesday at Bethel UM Church, Hollsopple, PA, with Pastor David Bowman officiating. Private Interment at Custer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family asks donations be made to Bethel UM Church, Hollsopple, PA in Leone’s memory.
