Danielli: Mary Elizabeth “Liz” 61, of Johnstown died February 4, 2020 at home. Born May 23, 1958 in Johnstown the daughter of Louie and Helen (McKool) Danielli. Preceded in death by parents, brother Rick, and nephew Michael. Survived by her twin sister Mary Louise Danielli, and Catherine married to Louie Vigna, and sister in law Joann Danielli. Also survived by nieces Lisa (Kevin) and Melissa (Dustin), great niece Amber great nephew Tony (Madison), and great-great nephew Grayson. Liz was also survived by many special friends. Liz was a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. She was employed by UPJ at a young age until illness affected her ability to work. Even though Liz’s illness caused her much suffering she always had a big heart and much compassion for others who suffered. At the time of Liz’s passing the presence of Jesus was felt by all the family who gathered by her side. The family is filled with gratitude to Dr. Leonardo Amper, her PCP, Dr. Kim, ENT Specialist of Pittsburgh, Father Mark and special friend Father Jack, Conemaugh Hospital, the Nurses of Windber Hospice, especially Ginger, and all the doctors who were involved in her care. Liz will be greatly missed, and by her life we learned to be people of compassion for others. Family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 A.M. Monday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Father Mark Begly and Father Jack Brezovec Celebrant. Committal Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family asks donations be made to Windber Hospice or the Assistance Ministry at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church.
