Mary Ruth (Heider) Maldet

Maldet: Mary Ruth 90 of Johnstown died November 10, 2019 at Westmont Woods.  Born September 23, 1929 in Johnstown the daughter of John and Helen (Wass) Heider.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Arthur “Bud” Maldet who died August 28, 2003, great grandchildren Colin Maldet and Brennen Odgers, and these siblings Ann, Francis, Bill, Jack, Dorothy, and Betty.  Survived by children Don (Karen), Mick, Sandy (Craig) Odgers, and Patti (Ken) Findley.  Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  Sister of Tom, Jim, Louis, Carol, and Bob.  Member of Faith United Methodist Church.  She was a long-time president of the Ideal Fire Ladies Auxiliary.  Family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. where funeral service will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday.  Entombment Richland Mausoleum.
