Michael Metro Ference

Ference: Michael Metro, 78 of Johnstown, PA passed away peacefully at his home May 30th, 2023.  Michael was born January 20th, 1945, the son of Metro and Mary Ference of Central City, PA. Preceded in death by his parents and wife of 51 years, Patricia (King).  He graduated from Shade High School and served his country in the US Navy.  Michael dedicated his life to his family, eventually moving closer to his sons and grandchildren in North Carolina.  Upon the passing of his wife, he moved back to Johnstown, a place he felt was his true home.  Michael leaves behind his two sons, David and Mark, married to Kristine (Colbert). Brother Daniel Ference and wife Theresa of Southport, NC.  Dear to his heart , his three grandchildren, Shannan, married to Jared Campbell of NC, Hayes Ference, Izabella Ference, and great-grandchildren Colton and Delilah Campbell.  A private committal will be held at St. Anne Cemetery in Hollsopple.
