Croyle: Patricia Jane, 77 of Johnstown died April 3, 2020 surrounded by her family at home. Born April 22, 1942 in Johnstown the daughter of Paul and Helene (McClelland) Nitch. Preceded in death by parents, husband Dorsey Croyle, Jr., longtime companion Cletus Wavrek, daughter Kathleen Croyle, and son Bruce Croyle. Survived by children Susan married to Richard Goshert, Pamela married to Wayne, Shroyer, Jr., Steven married to Claudine (Penatzer) Croyle, and Jennifer married to David Gindlesperger. Also survived by grandchildren Nicholas, Matthew (Adriane), Lauren, Maria, Kelsie (Michael), Hannah, Nathan, Michael, Brandon, and Mark, and great grandchildren Kara and Dylan. She is the sister of Barbara Sadosky. Pat is also survived by Cletus’s children Skip married to Julie and Scott married to Anita and his grandson Scott. Pat was a faithful charter member of the St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. She was formerly employed at Mercy Hospital and Crichton Center as an RN. Pat was a nurse by trade as she found caring for others to be her true calling. Even when not working she demonstrated that in her daily life caring for those around her. In her free time, she enjoyed working puzzles and always took time to smell the daisies. She enjoyed flowers of every kind and her last days were brightened by the many bouquets her friends and family surrounded her with. But her greatest loves were her family and her faith. She was lovingly known to her grandchildren as Grandma Patrick. They brought her so much joy as she watched them grow. Her faith sustained her through the many adversities she faced in her life and brought her peace in her days. Services will be private. Committal Grandview Cemetery. Rev.
