Paul L. Lavely "Chirp"

Lavely: Paul L. “Chirp” 82 of Johnstown, died August 15, 2018 at his home.  Born May 10, 1936 in Johnstown the son of Dudley Earl and Velma R. (Williams) Lavely, Sr.  Preceded in death by parents, son Paul Lavely, Jr. “Little Chirp”, grandson Jessey, and brothers Dudley Jr. “Ben” and Roy “Butch”  Survived by wife Sherrill Lavely, and these children Sherry Lavely-Morrison, Frank (Mary Ann Wilson) Lavely, Mary Jane Lavely, and daughter-in-law Deborah Lavely.  Also survived by grandchildren Jamey, Jennifer, Anna-Marie, Stephanie, Samantha, and Alex, Great grandchildren Breanna, Cheyenne, Bryce, Adyson, Daviyon, and great great grandchildren Dominic and Annalise.  He was the Brother-In-Law of Sandra Lavely.  He was the owner and operator of Lavely Signs.  He enjoyed being a member of the Goldwing Chapter T out of Somerset where he was Chapter Director for 3 years.  He also enjoyed being a pilot and flying his plane.  An Army Veteran.  Family and friends are welcome celebrate his life Sunday August 19 from 1-6 P.M. at his home.
