Rohde: Phyllis, 70 of Hollsopple went home to be with the Lord June 9, 2021, at home unexpectedly. Born September 26, 1950, in Johnstown the daughter of Alvin and Esther (Rhodes) Marshall. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by sons Michael and girlfriend Suzanne and Kirk and wife Lisa. Sister of William (Linda) Marshall and Jeffrey Marshall (Kathi Howrylak). Also survived by Aunt Eileen Holsopple and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be missed by her dog Lilly. Phyllis was a member of Bethel UM/EUB Church and Davidsville Community Church where she enjoyed playing the piano singing in the choir and holding offices. She was a graduate of Conemaugh Township High School and Conemaugh Valley Nursing School. She was formerly employed at several doctors’ offices, Laurel View Village for 20 years mostly as Director of Nursing and retired from Windber Church of the Brethren as an RN. Phyllis enjoyed reading her Bible, gardening, watching her sons play sports. She was a member of Hollsopple Historical Society and Hollsopple Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Family will receive friends from 11 A.M until time of Funeral Service at 2 P.M. Saturday at Davidsville Community Church with Pastor Wes Yoder officiating. Private inurnment Custer Cemetery. Family asks donations be sent to Davidsville Community Church in her memory.
