Ronald Greg Telenko "Tank"

Telenko: Ronald Greg “Tank” 71 of Jerome died January 10, 2025, at home with his family.  Born November 3, 1953, in Johnstown the son of Stephen and E. Virginia (Mikesell) Telenko.  Preceded in death by parents and sister Beverly (Baer) Craft.  Survived by wife of 49 years Tonyalee (Younkers) Telenko, daughter Michelle (Adam) Cuturilo and Granddaughter Jenna Telenko.  Tank is also survived by niece and nephew Christine Craft and Edward Craft and multiple great nieces and nephews.  Ron was a graduate of Conemaugh Township High School Class of 1972.  He worked for Penn Dot for 37 years until his retirement.  In his younger years he loved to bowl and play softball with his friends.  He also had very fond memories of his “Village Inn Family.”  He attended EVERY sporting event of his granddaughter showing pride and enthusiasm, sometimes so much the Referees had to escort him out.  He loved Rocky movies and was a die-hard Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins fan.  Ron loved his Ocean City, MD vacations every year and had to be ocean front 3rd floor/boardwalk.  He was a man of few words but always would tell it like it was.  He was incredibly loyal to all his family and friends and will be missed.  No viewing or services at his request.  Arrangements by the George E.
