Rosella Marie (Abbruscato) Waddell

Waddell: Rosella Marie, 94, of Davidsville died August 3, 2024, at Heritage Ridge Nursing Home.  Born April 5, 1930, in Johnstown the daughter of Vito and Teresa (Calfo) Abbruscato.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Francis J. Waddell, grandson Ian, 1 great grandson Sora, and sisters Margaret, Millie, and Mary.  Survived by children Francis J. Waddell and partner Joann, Theresa J. and husband David Hale, Christine R. and husband Jack Leach, and Gary Waddell and wife Cindy.  Also, the loving grandmother of Frankie, Stephanie, Amanda, Jennifer, Bethanie, Lauren, Leah, Aric, Carlie, and Amy.  Rosella is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.  She is the sister of Guy “Tom” Abbruscato.  She was a member and attended both St. Anthony and St. Andrew Catholic Church.  She enjoyed gardening, jigsaw puzzles, birdwatching, and her infamous Steelers.  Rosella was known for her excellent Italian Cooking.  The family wishes to thank all the staff at Heritage Ridge for their love and support of Rosella while she was in the home. Family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville where vigil for the deceased will be held.  Prayers will be said 10 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Father Peter Crowe presiding.  Committal Richland Cemetery.
