Samuel Speigle

Speigle: Samuel, 58 of Boswell died July 21, 2023, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh after a short illness.  Born October 28, 1964, in Johnstown the son of Dalton W. and Dorothy “Dot” (Wentz) Speigle.  Preceded in death by father.  Survived by mother and these siblings; Wayne married to Joanne (Brenneman), Jayne Byler, Sharon married to Lorin Byler, Timothy married to Donna (Kauffman), Carol married to Ray Landon, and John married to Vanessa (Enns).  He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  He was in partnership with his brother Tim at Speigle Ridge Farm for over 40 years at their 5-generation farm.  He was a 1982 graduate of North Star High School and attended Heston College.  Sam was an avid golfer belonging to a golf league at Sliding Rock Golf Course.  Family will receive friends from 4- 7 P.M. Monday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc Davidsville and from 10 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. Tuesday at Blough Mennonite Church in Hollsopple.  Interment will be at the Blough Mennonite Cemetery.  Those who wish can make a donation to the Somerset County 4H Club in Sam’s memory 6024 Glades Pike Suite 101 Somerset, PA 15501.
