Susan Kathryn Shuman

Shuman: Susan Kathryn, 73 of Arbutus Park Manor died July 29, 2024, at the Manor.  Born October 25, 1950, in Johnstown the daughter of George W. Jr. and Elizabeth Mae (Bash) Shuman.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by brother George D. and wife Janet, and niece Melissa Marie, nephew Daniel Wayne, and 4 great nieces and nephews.  Susan was a 1968 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School.  She attended Beckley College and Shenandoah University where she earned a degree in Music.  She had played Organ and Piano for Music Extravaganza at the War Memorial and was a member of the Johnstown Symphony.  Susan taught Piano to many students over the years.  The family wishes to thank all the staff at Arbutus Park Manor for all the care of Susan throughout the years.  No viewing or services to be held.  Interment Grandview Cemetery.  Family asks donations be sent to a local Humane Society.
