Carrico: Theodore J, 95 of Tire Hill went to be with his Lord and Savior February 17, 2025, at Laurel View Village. Born June 6, 1929, in Jerome, the son of George Melvin and Florence May (Reckner) Carrico. Preceded in death by his parents and loving wife Jeanne Carrico who died February 2, 2025, they were married 71 years after they met in high school when he was captain of the football team and she the head cheerleader. Also preceded in death by brothers George and wife Katherine, Leon and wife Rachel Joy, and sisters Eva and husband William Summers, Olive and husband Jack Peters, and Shirley Ann and husband Wilbert Vandervort Survived by son Craig Carrico and wife Dione. Loving grandfather of Cree Alyse and Craig Alan II who he adored very much. Ted is also survived by his brothers Charles Carrico and his wife Mary Alice and Edgar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Teddy and Jeanne were active members of Tire Hill Covenant Brethren Church where they were involved in many capacities including; Deacons, Sunday School teachers, Youth Advisors, Chairman of the Board and Sunday School Superintendent. Following graduation from Conemaugh Township High School Teddy joined the United States Navy serving in the Korean War. He retired from Bethlehem Steel and was a highly skilled Millwright. Teddy was also Chairman of the Conemaugh Township Area Ministries and served on the board at New Day, Inc. He was a compassionate visitor to all who were ill and needed encouragement. He was an avid golfer. He loved his family and friends dearly and lived his life that was pleasing to his Lord Jesus. He lived his life to hear the words “Well done good and faithful servant. He wanted everyone to know he is happy. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Friday at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville and from 10:30 A.M. until time of service at 11:30 A.M. Saturday at Tire Hill CBC in Tire Hill with Pastors Jack Rupert and Brian Simmons officiating. Entombment Richland Mausoleum.
