Mellon-Stayrook: Valerie Dawn, 53 of Johnstown, died November 20, 2020 at Windber Hospice. Born September 11, 1967, in Johnstown the daughter of Gregory A. Mellon and Jennifer L. Redick. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, husband of 17 years Paul Stayrook, and these children Shannan Nichole Ference Campbell, Dakota Jasmyn Bearden, and Quinn Alexandrea Stayrook. Also survived by grandchildren Colton Michael and Delilah Rose Campbell. Sister of Gregory Brent Mellon. Valerie will be missed by all her many in-laws, nieces, nephews and family. She was a former Registered Nurse. No viewing at her request. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. Those who wish can make donations to Paul for expenses. The family is being served by the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville.
