William "Skip" Jones, III

Jones: William III “Skip”, 73 of Hollsopple went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2023, at Richland Woods.  Born March 18, 1950, in Johnstown the son of William Jr. and Inez (Rullo) Jones.  Preceded in death by parents, wife Bonnie (Moranduzzo) Jones who died January 24, 2023, and son William Jones IV.  Survived by his siblings Robert and wife Barb Jones, and Donna and husband Donald Greig.  Also survived by his in laws Tom and Mary Ann Shaw and Jerry and Linda Jarosick, his Maternal Aunt Mary Louise Buterbaugh, and several nieces and nephews.  Skip was an active faithful member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Hollsopple.  He was a 57-year Life member of Hollsopple Volunteer Fire Hall since 1966.  He was an avid Hunter, Fisherman, and Bowler and was a member of Quemahoning Rod and Gun Club and New Baltimore Sportsman’s Club.  Skip was a 1970 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School.  He served as Constable for 12 years.  He retired from Penn Machine after 41 years of Service.  Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. and from 10 A.M. until time of funeral service at 10:30 A.M. at Bethel United Methodist Church Hollsopple with Pastor Sarah Atkins officiating.  Interment Custer Cemetery.
