Lohr, Mildred M. (Wain)  “Mim” 92, Hooversville, died June 23rd, 2017 at Conemaugh Memorial hospital (Palliative care).  Mildred M. Lohr was born Sept. 8th, 1924 in Hooversville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George and Mollie (Lehman) Wain. She was united in marriage to Dayton J. Lohr on Jan. 5th, 1946 in Hooversville.  He preceded her in death March 13th, 2013.  They were married 67 years.  Mildred’s occupations prior to marriage included a riveter at a plant during World War II making airplanes and assembly line worker at Sani Dairy in Johnstown.  She was a member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church and served faithfully throughout her life.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many.  She loved people.  Her favorite pastime was spending time with friends and family. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, square dancing, hosting many picnics and gatherings, and swinging on her porch with loved ones. She spent many winters with her husband in Lake Wales, Florida. Survived by sister, Gladys Naugle (Joseph) of Ohio, and children: son Larry Lohr and his wife Gloria of Hooversville, son Robert Lohr of Hooversville, daughter Jacqualine Cook and husband John of Stoystown, daughter Wendy Barnhart and husband Pete of Somerset, and son John Lohr and wife Tina of Hooversville.  Grandchildren: Tanya (Dale) Holsopple, Todd Lohr, Tammy (Shawn) Walker, Jennifer (Jeff) Cook, Jessica (Michael) Rodrigues, Joseph (Megan) Cook, Lori Barnhart, Breanna (Jim) Halkovich, Tom Lohr, Vanessa (Tyler) Thomas, Amanda Hershberger, Tiphanni, Stefanni, Sarah, Emily and Laniyah Lohr.  Great grandchildren: Jacob, Joshua and Jonathon Holsopple; Aubrey, Tia and Dorin Cook; Shaelyn, Shawna and Shandi Walker; Brody, Jaxon and Dylan Halkovich; Adelina, Makayla and Nora Rodrigues; Mikayla, Josiah and Rylie Thomas; Hudson Cook. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and infant daughter, Patricia Gale, and siblings: Bessie Wain (infant), Viola Trusko (Steve), Orville Wain (Edna), Charles Wain (Betty), Margaret Dobbins (George), and Wava Buchanan (Donald). The family will receive friends Monday June 26, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc. Davidsville and from 10 A.M. until time of funeral service  at 11 A.M. celebrating her life on June 27, 2017 at St. Thomas Lutheran Church.  Pastor Nila Cogan officiating.  Interment St. Thomas Cemetery.
