Meyers: Donald E. Sr., 97 of Hollsopple went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2017.  Born on April 15, 1919, son of the late Horatio and Ida Meyers.  Preceded in death by wife, Betty (Bozic); sister, Catherine; brother Lloyd.  Survived by daughter, Joanne Hostetler of Hollsopple; son Donald E. Jr. and wife, Donna of Hollsopple; grandchildren Donald E. Meyers III and wife Kimberly (King); Douglas Meyers and wife, Phyllis (Troyan); Lori Reese and husband Kirby; Jolene Bradybaugh; Amanda Hostetler; Shawn Hostetler; great-grandchildren, Samantha Meyers, Tyler Reese, Jacob Meyers, Chloe Reese, Brett Bradybaugh, Luke Meyers, Autumn (Bradybaugh) Hoffman and husband Levi, Eli Reese, Isaiah Bradybaugh, and Dalton Meyers; great-great-granddaughter Ezrah Hoffman; life-long friends, Skip and Gimilia Benson; Paul and Sherry Taylor.  He was a US Marine Corps. WWII Veteran, where he honorably served his country.  Retired steel worker from U.S. Steel.  Active member of the Conemaugh Valley Marine Corps. League 287 and Connumach Lion’s Club.  Lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church of Hollsopple where he served on the Board of Trustees.  A pillar of the Hooversville Community Skating Rink.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and serving his community.  More than anything, he loved people and people loved him.  Family will receive friends Friday from 1 P.M. until time of funeral service at 5 P.M. at Bethel United Methodist Church in Hollsopple.
