The Keim family fills a large part of my childhood memories. It was very important to have a Christian friend like Alan in high school. While we shared choir, track and cross-country, I also got to share your family. I loved being able to ride my bike down the dirt road to your house just to hang out.

I loved the fact that your mother always made room at her table for me, even with so many kids to feed. Despite coming from a Christian home, I was impressed that your dad took time to read a family devotion before dinner.

We were both blessed to grow up in a community like Davidsville. My God's blessings continue to abide with each of you children of Carmen and Florence.

I lost my mom in 2011 and dad in 2012. Like your parents, they were always there for me. We moved to Idaho to be near our children, Greg and Ben. Ben, his wife and two kids live just two blocks from us. God is good!

Susan, Becky and family...I was so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear momma. She always welcomed me with open arms when I was at your home during our teen years. I have many fond memories of times there. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this time. Momma Keim, rest in peace...

Some of my favorite memories are from being with Mr. and Mrs. Keim! Dinners at Becky's house where my parents, hers, the children and sometimes extended family ate taco salad, or laughed and carried on together. I appreciated Carman's desire to reach others for Jesus and faithfulness. Florence truly is one of the most loving, kind, welcoming and supportive people! Keim's were always a support! I appreciated noticing well-worn Bibles and hands that had worked hard serving God! I pictured a caring mother and loving grandmother! Florence is a blessing! I'm so glad I knew her as a friend and as the mother of a good friend! Now with Jesus, the longing of all of our hearts, if we know Jesus! My sympathy and love is with each of you today! What a beautiful, full, joyful life!
