Although we don't know you personally, please accept our deepest sympathyfor your recent loss of Grace. You may feel like what the Bible says at Psalms 119:28--"I weep with grief My heart is heavy with sorrow. Encourage and cheer me with your words" I Cor 15:26 says death is our enemy and it truly is. But there will be an end to death We can be comforted by Jesus' words in Rev21:3,4 Prayerfully yours, John and Elaine
Message from Bob Kaltenbaugh

Dear cousins, I am very sorry for the loss of your beloved, Grace Mary. She was definitely a special person, not only in your life, but also for my parents (Glenn and Ann) and for me and my wife. We got to visit her several times when we went to Florida to see my mother. We often made that trip across the bay to spend an evening with Grace Mary, and to hear about her travels around the world. I also have a lot of fond memories of playing together with many of you at the Kaltenbaugh reunion, especially when we went hunting for the little critters in the creek, and later played softball in the field. Those were the days, as we say. I also have memories of working at the manganese shed in Bethlehem Steel Corp for a year while I was finishing college, and getting to spend some time with your father, Willard.
I am also sorry that we were scheduled to be out of town today and we could not attend the funeral at Tire Hill Church. That would have been a wonderful time to share with you. As you all know, I am sure, I am a retired Lutheran Minister, and I have a great appreciation for family connections and support at the time of a death. Even though Grace Mary was not herself for many years while living at the nursing home, there is still a definite sense of loss that prevails. May you all find peace, especially at this holiday season when thoughts of family are so important.
